About the Job
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team on a remote basis. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation of various web-based and low-code applications, collaborating closely with both internal development teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
Develop and gain approval for project business cases through thorough stakeholder analysis, market research, and cost/benefit evaluations.
Lead medium to large-sized projects of moderate to high complexity and risk, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
Manage project dependencies across multiple divisions and external entities.
Engage with senior executives, IT personnel, and external stakeholders to analyze project requirements and manage expectations effectively.
Foster collaboration between client business, IT teams, and selected vendors to ensure successful project implementation.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams and vendor activities, reporting progress to senior executive management.
Collaborate closely with vendors to manage project milestones, identify risks, and resolve scheduling issues promptly.
Support contract management activities and ensure vendor deliverables meet project requirements.
Develop and maintain project management artifacts in accordance with industry best practices and client methodologies.
Utilize project management tools and platforms to monitor project progress and maintain project documentation.
Cultivate strong internal and external relationships to facilitate successful project delivery.
Skills:
Demonstrated expertise in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with low-code technologies such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or ServiceNow.
Proficiency in managing complex projects with aggressive timelines and competing priorities.
Healthcare industry experience preferred.
Familiarity with project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid frameworks.
Ability to work independently, make objective decisions, and thrive in diverse environments.
Solid proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Project Server.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools like Teams.
Experience in vendor management and procurement processes.
Knowledge of healthcare systems, particularly in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and substance use, is highly desirable.
