IT Project Manager with Security Clearance - Tyto Athene, LLC

About the Job
Tyto Athene is searching for an IT Project Manager to join a team of expert architects and engineers in leading the development and fielding of mission focused, cutting-edge cloud connectivity service solutions in a fast paced, high-visibility government environment.
In this role you will function as part of a team providing architecture, engineering and implementation of local, Metro, and Wide Area Networks throughout a world-wide, government enterprise.
Responsibilities:
• Project Manager / Architecture development, system engineering, and implementation of cloud connectivity solutions.
• Mange work as defined by the government.
• Lead medium to large complex projects.
• Create and maintain project plans, risk and issue logs.
• Track and analyze performance data and make recommendations for improvements.
• Manage the activities of the project team.
• Gather, assess and communicate customer requirements.
• Prepare reports and give presentations on project status.
• Engage with commercial vendors for materiel quotes and purchasing.
• Submit purchase requisitions using government procurement process.
• Partner with Operations Teams for transition of production systems to operations and maintenance.
Qualifications:
• Ten (10) years' experience (Senior Project Manager) or six (6) years' experience (Mid-level Project Manager) in the Information Technology Field is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional IT experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with MS Project, Jira and Confluence tools.
• PMP certification a plus.
