IT Project Manager - Oxenham Group LLC

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Project Manager to suppport one of our clients. This role involves providing Agile Center of Excellence support, including facilitation, planning, scope development, tracking, risk management, and communication. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile and Product Mindset maturity and be capable of managing multiple workstreams of varying complexity. Extensive experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is required, including expertise in backlog management and creating dashboards.

This individual must be highly organized, communicative, and capable of working independently while driving all phases of a project or program's lifecycle to successful completion.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Agile Center of Excellence support to advance Agile and Product Mindset maturity within the organization.
• Facilitate the planning and execution of multiple small to complex workstreams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and track project scope, schedules, and deliverables while identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage backlogs, create and maintain dashboards, and support project tracking.
• Champion Agile principles and foster a product-oriented mindset within teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Project Management Expertise:
  • Organization, communication, facilitation, scheduling, documentation, and follow-through skills.
• Azure DevOps (ADO) Expertise:
  • Proficient in backlog management, dashboard creation, and other ADO functionalities.
• Agile Mindset:
  • Experience with or passion for advancing Agile and Product Mindset maturity.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT-focused environments.
• Demonstrated success managing projects across various phases and complexities.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Ability to align work efforts with a clear understanding of "why" and "how" Agile practices are being advanced.
