IT Project Manager - Subject Matter Expert - TekSynap

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Subject Matter Expert – Project Manager oversees all aspects of the contractor’s support of all tasks within this PWS, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, integrating, and controlling activities necessary for all tasks to meet schedule, and performance requirements. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manages all day-to-day operations including administrative functions, assessing risks, identifying assumptions, and resolving interpersonal conflicts.
• Responsible for the duties, tasks, and activities required to make the program/project successful.
• Actively participates in the management decision-making process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT/logistics project or program management, to include:

• Must have DoD project management experience
• Experience using MS Project

Security/Certification Requirements:

• Must have Secret Clearance with IT-I eligibility
• Must have Project Management Certification from a nationally recognized authority

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team supporting the Defense Logisitics Agency in Springfield, VA.

This position is in support of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).  DLA is an agency of the Department of Defense. DLA Information Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS), Information Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE), Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE) located enterprise wide at multiple DLA locations. This position is intended to support the Enterprise Telecommunications Network and Cloud functions by exercising skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support of current and new technologies.
