IT Project Manager Sr.
Job Summary
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC). Oversees all aspects of projects. Coordinates and prioritizes projects. Sets deadlines, manages assignments, and works with project leads to monitor and summarize progress of projects. Builds and maintains working relationships with project leads, department members, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and at least 7 years of experience in the field or related area.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be required depending on area of assignment.

Preferences
· Strong experience and proven track record in project management.· Experience in the research computing and data (RCD) activities preferred.
