IT Project Manager
ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division (Prime) is actively hiring a Zero Trust (ZT) Project Manager in support of our Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) program based out of Quantico VA.
This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite at least two (2) days a week at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA.
DUTIES:The ZT Project Manager will work with the ZT engineering team to oversee the project planning, execution and delivery of the ZT implementation project to ensure the objectives of EO 14028 and other Federal requirements are met. Additionally, the ZT Project Manager will provide support and services to include:
• Monitoring, tracking, and recording the day-to-day progress of projects • Developing a risk management plan in the planning phase to ensure the project stays on track and on budget • Designing project schedules and planning for deadlines • Preparing reports and documentation for each project • Identifying the resources needed for a project during the planning phase • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems that may arise during the project • Adopting quality assurance and quality control systems to ensure the project is delivered successfully • Communicating with all stakeholders, including internal team members, external partners, investors, and customers• Integrate business and technical aspects of projects that are a part of the implementation of ZT principles across all pillars of ZT (identity, device, network, application and workload and data) to assist the client in meeting the requirements set forth by EO 14028 and OMB M 22-09 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should demonstrate a detailed knowledge the following:
• Ability to analyze, plan, and develop scheduled project plans• Creation of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS); providing updates to its, health, and accuracy• Development Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)• Proven quality management and control of IT projects• Development of monthly status reports (progression week 1 through week 4 buildup). • Performing risk management to include:
• managing risk across the ZT program as the landscape evolves; and • integrating ZT into the existing DCSA Cybersecurity Risk Management framework and CISA's ZT maturity model with the goal of the solution reaching the optimal state of maturity.• Determining and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for all resources.• Development of all management artifacts (PMP, IMP, CP, RMP, QAP, etc.).• Designing Dashboard/Briefings to measure program performance, schedule, etc.• Experience communicating effectively, both oral and written, with technical, non-technical, and executive-level customers.
YEARS EXPERIENCE:
At least two (2) Years – Proven experience in IT Project Management.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management, Information Technology
CERTIFICAITON(S):
DD8140/DoD8570.01-M IAM I or IAT I e.g., A+ CE, CCNA-Security CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE or higher-level certification
PMP Certified Preferred
CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Secret
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite at least two (2) days a week. Onsite days may be higher during initial project design and implementation.
If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection.
Must speak English well enough to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer both verbally and in written form.
