The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager (PM) Lead will manage assigned technology Projects within The Salvation Army Eastern Territorial Headquarters Information Technology (IT) team. This Lead PM will be responsible for end-to-end project related tasks/activities, including project scoping, project team planning, scheduling, risk identification and mitigation, etc, and challenges assigned by the Territorial IT Director, Portfolio, Program, and Project Management.
This position requires approximately 35 hours of work per week and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:- Adhere to Project Management Office (PMO) processes and procedures for end-to-end project and service delivery for assigned Projects and Special initiatives.
- Partner with Critical/Key Project stakeholders to validate business needs, priorities, and challenges and secure approvals for PMO Project Artifacts.
- Create Project Lifecycle artifacts, such as Project Charter, Business Requirements Documentation, Project Scope Documentation, RACI Chart, Project Schedules using MS Project and Project Business Process Flows, as needed.
- Serve as primary Leader for specific assigned Project Team that will deliver as solution to a defined business problem.
- Responsible for Meeting Coordination, including Agendas. Ensuring all relevant stakeholders are in attendance.
- Leverage effective oral and written communication skills to identify critical risks and issues that require immediate attention.
- Facilitate and monitor ongoing project activities/tasks between various THQ departments, commands/divisions, as needed.
- Manage project status reporting for assigned Projects.
- Coordinate, manage stakeholder (including outside vendors on occasions) meetings and coordinate activities between all involved departments.
- Manage assigned projects from beginning to end, including status reporting, issue tracking, verification
- Create Project/Process related documentation, presentations, and other required documents.
- Capture meeting minutes, update Project Schedule related tasks/activities, as needed via Monday.com.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology) preferred
- 7 + of IT/Software Project Management with 3-5 years of infrastructure experience and PMI PMP Certification preferred
- SAFe, CSM, or Agile certification preferred with at least 3 years of experience.
- Problem Solving, Excellent Communications, and willingness to learn innovation, methodology, and/or technology.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues that are identified during Project, as needed.
