ONSITEDimondale, MIThis position is for aSenior Project Manager (PM3) to assist the State ofMichigan Project Management Office supporting Department of Treasuryand MichiganGaming Control Board with a multi-yearhigh priority project. This role, as partof the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), works closely withDTMB Agency Services technical teams as well as with agencyexecutives/stakeholders in the delivery of TREAS APPS PCI Compliance Project for2024– 2025in work related to the following controls: secure network, accountmanagement, incident response planning and completion of SAQ-A.This seniorPMwill also work in the delivery of PCI Compliance Projects for 2024 –2025iterative process to ensure that State of Michigan (SOM) has implementedpolicies, procedures, and secure system configurations in accordance with thePCI-DSS requirements which are designed to protect cardholder data. This projectcovers the project management efforts and high-level technical guidance effortsfor the Enterprise level technical compliance.The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-vendordeploymentsupporting a hybrid workforce (combination of on-site and remote work)at all levels of the organization. Applicants should possess exceptionalcommunication and follow up skills along with significantexperience in formal ITproject management. This position requires the PM to be working in person for2-3 days a week and remainder can be work from home.Basic Duties:· Utilize the State of Michigan’s Project Portfolio Management Tool(Clarity) to prepare project schedules, assign resources and management budgets.· Prepare information for presentations geared to various audiences ranging fromexecutives, managers and project team members.· Accountable for monitoring, controlling, and communicating project progress byactively managing the cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.· Accountable and responsible for clear, timely, and accurate communicationswith stakeholders, particularly the project sponsors, project team members,program managers, and Treasury/DTMB management, on the status of the project,using appropriate communication methods.· Responsible for providing leadership and fostering collaborative participationbetween the technical and business teams by obtaining consensus and gainingcommitment.· Responsible for working with the project team members to develop and maintainthe following key SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) deliverablesthroughout the project lifecycle:o Project Charter - Project Schedule – Project Budget - Communication Plan -Project Status Report - Risk and Issue Management Plans - Change Requests -Project Closedown Summary· Responsible for managing interfaces related communication with other agencies· Responsible for ensuring the project adheres to the SUITE PMM and SystemEngineering Methodology (SEM), including appropriate and timely transitionsthrough the stages and phases of the project lifecycle.· Responsible for facilitating and enforcing the Change Management process(Change Requests) when the project deviates from the approved scope, schedule,or budget. This includes ensuring all Change Requests have appropriate approvalbefore action is taken or information is updated.· Responsible for creating project Corrective Action Plans (CAP) when necessaryfor projects in yellow or red status.· Responsible for understanding the project benefits and the impact of changerequests to the benefits business cases. Responsible for ensuring relatedproject artifacts are updated accordingly.Responsible for reviewing and understanding vendor contracts to actively managethe vendor deliverables and adherence to the vendor deliverable approvalprocedure.
