Job Description--Senior IT Project Manager
Short term assignment 3 - 6 months, will wrap up in June as the project is completed. Will be helping the team with Admin tasks as needed. Need someone to jump in with high initiative who is adaptable and can work on many tasks at once. Will be completing Global implementation.Title: IT Project Manager III
Work Location: Cleveland OH
The Senior IT Project Manager role is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, and reporting of all projects within their area of responsibility. Makes sure that all projects are adhering to the Software Development Lifecycle. Coordinates work requests through implementation by requesting resources and communicating status with all interested parties. Provides comprehensive reporting and status back to management and clients.
Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning- Manage timeline, budget, scope, risks, and dependencies for enterprise website projects.
- Work with IT program management to maximize resource utilization and align with resource capacity.
- Proactively manage project plans and work with other projects managers to create what-if scenarios based on project completion dates and stakeholder priorities.
- Work with stakeholders to align on priorities and manage stakeholders' expectations effectively.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Request and allocate resources based on project requirements and availability.
- Generate weekly and monthly project status as requested to stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items.
- Track and escalate project risks and issues. Create mitigation plans for key risks.
- Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
- Work with vendor agencies as needed to fulfill project needs.
Operation Management
- Provide business reports to management and clients.
- Be a leader for cross-functional delivery teams.
- Manage relationships with internal business clients.
- Detail-oriented and well organized in all day-to-day activities.
- Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
Incidental Functions
- Prepare and lead presentations as requested.
- Assist with other projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
- Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
Formal Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business or related field or equivalent experience
- PMI certification preferred
- 5+ years IT and/or business experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IT projects.
- 3+ years of enterprise website experience required.
- 3+ years of experience working with external agencies or partners.
- Experience with enterprise CMS platforms, such as Adobe Experience Manager, preferred.
- Experience with third-party system integrations, such as product catalogs, preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools.
- Experience in managing projects with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of various essential business functions of an organization.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Physical Activities/Capabilities/Work Environment
Sit for extended periods of time; walk and stand occasionally.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components constantly.
Lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers, devices, and peripherals occasionally.
Work environment involves everyday risk or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting, and training rooms, i.e., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
Work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
Minimal travel is required
Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required.
