Necomitt Global Talent is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our clients in the Financial Industry, Oil and Gas Sector, Information Technology and IT Startups in Dallas, Texas. This is a 12 month + contract position. Our client is going through a large-scale change initiative and we have been tasked with a highly skilled personnel who can deliver technology solutions to our valued clients.
Position Objective & Goal: The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, building consensus among multiple projects leads relative to project scope, task execution, organizing, and facilitating projects related to the design, development, and improvement of the IT Infrastructure.
What You Will Be Doing Daily:
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, prioritizing multiple enterprise assigned task and implements company technical IT projects
Display dedication to position responsibilities and achieve assigned goals and objectives
Provide hands-on technology project management and documentation to support large technology projects with multiple moving parts and a large group of stakeholders, vendors, and IT team members to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centers.
Work directly with the Director of IT & Information Security to manage multiple concurrent network related upgrades
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, and scheduling expenditures
Display loyalty to the Company and its organizational values
Work with development teams and vendors to manage project workflow, track and report progress
Develop and maintain relationships with technology and equipment partners
Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessions
Monitors performance of project delivery based on established timelines and report such to appropriate department
Manage dependencies proactively, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks
Maintain all project artifacts
Ensure conduct is consistent with all Compliance Program Policies and procedures when engaging in any activity on behalf of the company
Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems
What You Need In Order To Qualify For This Position:
4-7 years of project management experience with
Moderate knowledge of all current trends in software delivery methodologies such as (Agile/SCRUM/Waterfall); success in transforming teams to embrace new trends and technologies
Develop and maintain detailed project plan to include milestones, tasks, and target/actual dates of completion
Bachelor Degree in project management or a master’s of business administration (MBA) with a technology concentration is required for this position
Experience managing individual and roll-up project budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies for IT and related projects
PMP and PMI Certification (Preferred)
Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills set is required for this position
Experience with Information Technology Project Management
Requires effective communication and organization skills
Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals and industry leading software development methodologies
