IT Project Manager – Insurance Analytics – Boston, MA

Daley And Associates is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a client who is a growing Insurance Analytics firm in the Boston area. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading small, medium, and large-scale initiatives, coordinating project activities, ensuring the successful completion of various IT projects.
This role will pay a base salary up to $130K.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the planning, execution, and closing phases of IT projects
Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget, and ensure adherence to them throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, resource requirements, and deliverables
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of expectations
Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address any issues that may arise
Facilitate project meetings, ensuring that actions are documented and followed-up on
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, leading and successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
PMP certification is a plus
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is highly desirable
