About the Job
CBTS is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a position located in Downey, CA. This position will work in the office Monday through Wednesday and will work remotely Thursday and Friday. Some travel may be required.
The Project Coordinator will manage multiple projects, provide documentation and stake holder management. Raising escalations and tracking day-to-day items with stakeholders related to certain projects.
Job Description:
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of projects in the Information Technology sector. Schedule and host meetings, provide agendas, take notes throughout meeting, distribute minutes with decisions, outcomes, tasks/dates/owners, etc following meetings.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of the definition of project mission, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of project scope, schedule, resources, status reporting, communication, costs, issues, risk mitigation, integration, and implementation.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of effectively communicating project status to stakeholders, and appropriately escalate issues to management attention.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of developing and maintaining detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of internal resources and third parties for flawless execution of projects.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget, and at the required level of quality.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of project management guidelines, practices, and procedures.
- Assist PMs in the administration and coordination of ideation through a defined innovation process and engages the “appropriate” stakeholders to support with assessment, prioritization and development of innovative technologies
Experience:
- 3 years project management experience, preferably in the information technology sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent follow up & follow through required
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
