Kforce's San Antonio, TX client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Program Manager in a contract-to-hire position. The candidate must be based in Texas and being located in San Antonio is preferred. Summary: As an IT Program Manager I - Business Transformation, you will support a portfolio that has impact across the organization ensuring strategic initiatives are executed efficiently. You will act as a trusted advisor, managing key project updates, monitoring KPIs/KRIs, facilitating executive-level communications, and providing high-level support. More than that, this role is about constant improvement and doing so with our signature all-win approach in mind. Duties:

Develop program implementation approach and road map based on program vision articulated by leadership
Work closely with cross-functional teams, and assigned leaders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for program deliverables and workstreams
Manage risks, issues & dependencies and maintain a RAID log to maximize delivery efficiency and productivity
Manage and provide oversight of program status to Senior leaders and work across portfolio to prioritize and resolve high priority issues requiring escalation
Work productively and positively with a wide range of individuals including project managers, key organizational leaders, resource managers and stakeholders
Use effective project and program management methodology and techniques to enable the success of the portfolio
Develop and maintain dashboards to evaluate and improve stakeholder satisfaction and program quality
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting and contract renewals
Organize town halls and team-building activities to foster a collaborative work environment
Create advanced PowerPoint presentations that tell a compelling story

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
5+ years in an advanced technical project management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
Demonstrated knowledge of project management disciplines, agile preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated Experience supporting senior executives and delivering high-quality executive communications
Experience in financial analysis and budget management
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

Master's degree in relevant field
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
Agile Certification (CSM or PMI-ACP)
Program Management Professional Certification (PgMP)
Change Management Certification (Prosci)
Lean Six Sigma Certifications (LSSGB, LSSYB, LSSBB, LSS Champion)
Demonstrated experience in providing policy, strategic and operational advice, and recommendations at a senior level
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement on complex and high-profile issues
Knowledge of software engineering disciplines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
