Project Description:
- Manages and plans complex program/projects with regards to time, budget, and scope, andensures quality, time, and budget objectives.
- Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to program/projects, ensuring thatthere are appropriate and effective governance arrangements and risk management supportedby comprehensive reporting and communication.
- The ideal candidate takes accountability for the definition, documentation, and successfulcompletion of assigned program/projects.
- This is a hybrid role that balances Agile Delivery and traditional Program Management to helpsoftware development teams build and deliver solutions more efficiently.
Task Description:
- Delivers Program/Project Management:
- Oversee internal and external systems/application development projects within a program from inception to successful implementation including project objectives, scope and level of effort, and project strategies and plans.
- Assist with getting projects off the ground, keeping them on track and on budget, and resolving issues as well as monitoring progress against the plan.
- Lead Agile processes for the program to ensure delivery and releases are within scope.
- Monitor Agile metrics for the program and responsible for ongoing development of their agile teams, continued improvement of development processes, and product quality and quantity of work delivered.
- Develop consolidated project plans, specifying high level goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risks, contingency plans and allocation of available resources. Monitors, analyzes, and assesses deviation from the project plans and ensures the achievement of project milestones. Ensures that all project plans are realistic and are maintained.
- Ensures that project methodologies are followed and that all mandatory project work products are completed for projects within program.

- Assists with the assignment of project personnel.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project resources to ensure project progresses on

- Provides leadership and motivation to project teams throughout the project life cycle.
- Creates and maintains an engaged work environment by ensuring clearly defined roles
and responsibilities.
- Mentors project resources to enable delivery.
- Owns program results and assists teams to deliver performance within the range of
targeted expectations.
- Balances team priorities with the overall program and corporate priorities.
- Assists with the assignment of project personnel.
- Partners with Business:
- Assumes key overall responsibility for ensuring that sponsors have easy access to
information that is useful to them.
- Works closely with other project managers and business sponsors to understand and
prioritize business goals and information needs
- Leads the effort across projects in creative approaches to problem solving and quality
deliverables supporting business needs.

- Convey Program Management Status:
- Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Utilizes Agile tracking tool for monitoring agile project performance and reporting
status.
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel, and modify schedules and plans
as required.
- Prepares project status reports, and keep management, customers and others informed of project status and related issues.
- Coordinates update meetings to communicate plans, status and issues to higher levels
of management.
- Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
