Role: IT Program Manager
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Fort Collins or Denver, CO (Onsite)

Large scale global greenfield implementation of SAP S4 /HANA part of the transformation to digitization. This role will play a major lead role in transformation journeys. The Senior IT Program Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Applications and manage the SAP ERP program. This role involves coordinating the activities of team members across various functional areas as well as system integration partners. The IT Program Manager will plan activities, manage risks, drive decisions, manage Program Governance, and communicate effectively with various audiences.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule Management: Ensure the creation and maintenance of the project schedule. Provide strategic coordination for the next steps as well as tactical coordination of immediate actions.
• Team Management: Ensure proper coordination and communication between team members, including business members, IT members, and system integration partners.
• Stakeholder Management: Ensure effective communication with different stakeholder audiences, including the executive team (Steering Committee), functional business teams, and system integrator partners.
• Governance / Scope Management: Ensure Program stays on-scope and tightly governed to deliver to approved solution on-time an on-budget.
• Risk Management: Identify and monitor risks, including developing mitigation plans and escalation processes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Location: Fort Collins or Denver, CO
• Environment: Standard office environment, in office first with some flexibility

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid background in Program/Project Management with a full understanding of core project management principles (PMP certification preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate large, complex projects involving multiple teams and covering many business functions, including strong team-building skills.
• Experience in establishing project schedules and internal milestones, identifying and resolving issues, and defining risks and mitigations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior executives and business leaders to effectively drive decisions and solve issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse audiences. 

EXPERIENCE:                                  

Essential:                          

• 10+ years of experience in project management of Software Implementation
• Worked in a reputable large-scale company

Desirable:

• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) project management at global scale (S/4 experience preferred) – there’s a downside indicating S/4 as it could reduce our candidate pool; so, I’ll rely on your judgement and your market experience to know if we should indicate S/4 or not.
• At least 4 full cycle ERP Implementations from Client (consumer) side
• Experience leading projects with multi country deployment is a plus

EDUCATION:                                                                                    

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration required
• Program Management or technical field preferred
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification desired
