We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our IT Delivery Practice. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving and managing strategic technology initiatives. Your expertise in program management, development practices, infrastructure modernization, and financial services combined with a sound set of technical skills will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of complex projects and initiatives. Responsibilities:JOB DUTIES
- What makes you the ideal leader?
- Communicating up and down the stack –interacting with executives, engineers and architects, business groups and shared services
- Leading the tech standardization efforts to streamline technology and tools needed to support business need
- Support the assessment of the program scope and supporting technology capabilities to drive modernization activities
- Build and develop effective relationships with different IT and product teams to find opportunities for increase business value while modernizing our technology solutions
- Create effective program processes and think out of the box to deliver value quickly while managing costs strategically
- Document and conduct presentations for technical, business and leadership audiences to promote program strategy and communicate progress
- Support the CTO Delivery group in planning activities across goals, KRs, KPIs etc. as it relates to program goals
- Assist with change management activities for the team and beyond
- Champion the financials of assigned programs, yearly budget, and ongoing financial planning
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and driving operational efficiency within the program
Skills
- Experience in managing technology modernization project teams using a variety of supporting technologies
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different levels of hierarchy
- Strong understanding of program and project management practices and demonstration of essential supporting soft skills
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage program plans, budgets, and resources effectively
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus and manage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to Identify and understand technical dependencies between initiatives
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience
- 7-10 years of experience in technology leadership roles required
- 3-5 years of experience as a technical program management or development manager required
- Financial services industry experience preferred
Licenses
- PMP certification preferred
- Scrum Master Certification preferred
