POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The manager is responsible for supporting all customer facing applications (portal), business processes and systems. The manager will act as a super user developing recommendations on processes and system improvements. The manager is also responsible to document business requirements and internal controls to ensure they effectively support the organization’s current and future business needs and strategy. The incumbent will be responsible to learn and perform configuration changes and not be responsible for developing code or perform system fixes which are not configuration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

General Responsibilities:

Gather & document business requirements for change requests (system enhancements) submitted by stakeholders in all departments (Customer Service/Operations/Sales/Finance) within the organization

Ensure requirements gathered capture potential impact to various systems and are documented accordingly (NetSuite, Blue Yonder, ArcadiaOne, Billing, Scheduling, etc.)

Work with business and developers to find a system solution that meets the business needs

Monitor and engage teams to ensure assigned change requests are developed based on priority

Manager:

Understand business strategy, objectives and roadmap

Support the alignment of technology with the organization’s goals
-
Learn the Customer Portal business process flow
-
Learn all systems that the Portal interfaces to determine impact to Portal and other downstream systems when doing changes, fixes, etc.

Collaborate with business leads to support appropriate system-related solutions
-
Assist with building the business case justification for cost effective IT solutions to business problems and business process

Business process improvements

Document the business requirements, Key performance indicators and help build these using Tableau and displaying these on the customer portal

Work with business functions to implement continuous process improvement initiatives

Interact with customers to gather feedback and prioritize feedback into improvements for the Customer portal and Appointment management systems

Deployment:
-
Support the rollout of new technology by acting as a super user, testing the application and training users on the new technology.

Release management (includes deployment, support fixes and small enhancements)

Support the deployment of new technologies across the organization by testing new software, new version or system fixes

Change Management and Learning:
-
Support the development and implementation of system and business process training
-
Support internal communications related to business improvements, system upgrades and enhancements
-
Develop external communications – When changes or fixes impact customers or carriers

Project Management Responsibility:
-
Act as Project Manager to schedule functional workshop meetings, determine and manage priorities of development, track deliverables, timeline, weekly status updates and cutover activities.

Documented all functional requirements, coordinate design workshops, create training documents for end-users. Ensure assigned tasks are completed to avoid disruption to project timeline.

Acting as the liaison between IT and outside developers, ultimately responsible for IT Project Lifecycle (Requirements Analysis, Project Scheduling, Testing/QA/Rollout/Support), Cross-Functional Supervision, Team Building & Mentoring, weekly status reports, and actively ensure assigned action items were being addressed by responsible user.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of the 3rd party Logistics, Cold Storage a plus.

Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and address problems creatively.
-
Effective at developing internal / external relationships.
-
Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
-
2+ years of experience managing a software as a Product Manager.

Ability to work effectively, both independently/self-directed and as a member of a team.
-
Strong problem solving and analytical skills required.

Professional level verbal and written communication skills.

High attention to detail and quality.
