IT Operations Lead - CHOICE FINANCIAL GROUP LLC

Position Overview

We seek a highly skilled IT Operations Lead to join our team and lead the development and support of our cloud, network, and desktop environment. This is a startup culture; the role will be strategic and hands-on.

In this role, you will administer our M365 tenant and endpoint configuration, deployment, and support. You will also collaborate closely with external technology and security service providers to ensure our network remains resilient, highly scalable, and secure as our business proliferates.

You will lead the company in growing and maturing its IT services capabilities.

 Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Inspire and mentor a growing IT Services team while being a key advisor to the CTO
• Plan and lead ongoing technology integration of firms we acquire through M&A, including migrating newly acquired companies into our 365 tenant
• Design and implement configurations and standards for the company’s mission-critical Microsoft 365 platforms, including Exchange, Entra, InTune, and Defender.
• Execute and maintain technology standards and solutions, including endpoint protection, patching, and RMM.
• Work closely with the company’s managed detection and response team to address security threats and vulnerabilities
• Provide insights and leadership around optimizing cloud costs
• Evaluate, recommend, and work with technology vendors and service providers

Experience & Abilities

• 10+ years of experience in hands-on technical roles administering cloud or hybrid infrastructure solutions
• 5+ years of successful experience configuring, deploying, and supporting physical and virtual desktops
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in M365 including Exchange is required
• Passion and patience for mentoring future technology leaders and ability to interact professionally with business leaders and non-technical employees
• Strong experience administering solutions on Microsoft 365 or Office 365 technologies, including Exchange, InTune, Entra / Azure AD, Defender, and Purview
• Experience implementing and managing Identity Management solutions, federated authentication, MFA, and SSO
• Although we are a cloud-first company, experience with desktop and endpoint technologies, patching, and best practices will be required
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, ITIL, ITSM, CISSP, or other equivalent is desired
• Successful experience with SentinelOne and NinjaOne is highly desired
