Overview:
Join our cilent's IT Service Management (ITSM) team, responsible for driving the adoption of new technologies across North America. As we build a unified communications platform to consolidate various channels like Yammer, Teams, and more, we seek a seasoned professional to enhance user experience and streamline operations. This role entails close collaboration with development, data, and networking teams, requiring strong communication skills, risk assessment abilities, and Agile (SAFe certification) expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the unified communications platform, catering to PB&NA's unique needs while adhering to global communication templates.
- Collaborate with hiring manager, the project manager, to gather requirements, assess risks, and ensure successful rollouts.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments, gathering feedback and refining processes to optimize service delivery.
- Mitigate risks associated with system updates, upgrades, and new technology implementations, preventing potential failures.
- Provide ad hoc communication support during incidents, striving to minimize disruptions and ensure prompt resolution.
- Act as a case study for best practices in IT service delivery, contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience in IT Service Management (Change, Request, Problem), preferably in a large, fast-paced organization.
- Agile proficiency, capable of adapting to evolving project requirements and priorities.
- Proven ability to assess risks and anticipate implications, ensuring smooth operations and preventing failures.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Applications upgrades and customization of off-the-shelf platforms is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work with global teams, including occasional early morning meetings with colleagues in India.
- Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration, problem-solving, and adapting to a dynamic work environment.
- Two rounds of interviews, including meetings with the hiring manager and a small panel.
