IT Onsite Technician - Cedar Rapids - Medix Dental IT

Location: Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, IA or surrounding areas

About Us:

Founded in 2003, we are a Midwest-based Dental Technology integration and support provider. We are dedicated to providing technical support and solutions to dental offices across the nation. Our team is expanding, and we're looking for Field Technician to support our partners in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, IA area.

Responsibilities:

As an Onsite Technician, you will be the go-to person for resolving technical issues at dental offices within your assigned region. Your role involves building strong relationships with our partners, delivering exceptional customer service, and finding effective solutions to a range of technical challenges. While on-site, you'll tackle issues related to hardware, software, phones, printers, and specialized dental imaging products. When not working on-site, you will remotely assist partners from the comfort of your home.

Key Duties:

• Travel primarily to dental offices within the Iowa city to Cedar Rapids, IA area to address technical issues; troubleshooting, deployment, etc.
• During your first 90 days, there will be a lot of traveling across the country for hands-on training. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Remote assistance for partners when not on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, phones, printers, and dental imaging products, etc.
• Contribute to routine maintenance and installations nationwide as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with onsite technical support or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with hardware, software, and dental imaging products is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region and elsewhere when scheduled.
• Ability to work remotely when not scheduled to be on-site.
