Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our team at Rancho Health MSO, inc. This individual will play a critical role in managing our IT infrastructure and systems while also supporting key initiatives related to mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and clinical system integrations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong management experience and a passion for healthcare technology. This role requires someone who can manage day-to-day IT operations while being willing to dive into complex clinical and business challenges.

1. IT Management & Support:

Oversee and manage the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security, and cloud-based systems, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

Manage IT support team, providing guidance and oversight to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Ensure consistent monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues to maintain business continuity.

Collaborate with internal departments to assess and optimize software solutions.
2. M&A and System Integration:

Act as a key technical resource during Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) processes, providing technical leadership for due diligence, systems integration, and seamless transition of IT operations.

Collaborate with clinical teams and other stakeholders to assess and integrate electronic health records (EHR), practice management systems (PMS), and other clinical systems across new acquisitions.

Manage the deployment of new IT infrastructures, including cloud solutions, hardware, and software integrations, ensuring minimal disruption during transitions.

Support the integration of clinical systems and data, including electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine, and other healthcare technologies into the broader IT ecosystem.
3. Clinical Systems Support:

Provide ongoing support for clinical systems, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare providers, staff, and patients.

Work closely with clinical teams to troubleshoot and improve systems for scheduling, billing, patient data management, and overall clinical operations.

Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and functionality of clinical applications.
4. Strategic Planning & Leadership:

Help shape the IT strategy for the MSO in collaboration with leadership, aligning technology investments with the organization's business and clinical objectives.

Stay up to date on emerging technologies, especially within the healthcare space, and recommend innovations that can improve operational efficiency and patient care.

Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to ensure that IT initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work closely with clinical, financial, and operations teams to identify and address technology needs across the organization.

Act as a liaison between IT and non-technical stakeholders to explain technical issues and solutions in a clear, understandable manner.
6. Risk Management & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, PCI and other healthcare-related regulatory requirements regarding data security and privacy.

Develop and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect patient data and IT infrastructure.
Required education and experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare IT, or related field.

5+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:

Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including EHR, PMS, billing systems, and other clinical technologies.

Experience with M&A processes including system integration and technology due diligence.

Proficiency in cloud platforms, network security, and system administration.

Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare compliance standards and regulations.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Ability to roll up sleeves and actively contribute to the technical aspects of M&A, system implementation, and day-to-day IT operations.
