Position Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is based in Idaho Falls, ID. The IT Manager will support all locations at Idaho Pacific Holdings and is responsible for overseeing the organization's technology operations and ensuring the IT systems are aligned with the business objectives. This role includes managing the internal IT support personnel third-party consultants, implementing IT policies, and overseeing system and hardware upgrades and new installations, cybersecurity measures, and network infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Manage the overall daily operations of the IT Department, including network, servers, computers, telephones, copy machines, and scanners.
- Provide timely updates to management and key stakeholders on IT issues and projects
- Ensure IT needs of internal and external customers are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and manage tracking tools to monitor system performance, report problems, and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate IT hardware requirements and recommend upgrades.
- Manage and oversee relationships with outside vendors and services.
- Oversee the maintenance and support of the company's IT infrastructure including hardware, software, servers, networks, and cloud services, including but not limited to the ERP system and Microsoft Office products
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place for the Company's IT infrastructure, including data backups, disaster recovery, and incident management plans.
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals, including submission for approval of annual IT budget and 3-year IT plan.
- Manage and administer regular employee cybersecurity training.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required
- 5-8 years of progressively responsible IT management experience
- Minimum of 3 years of ERP experience required
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, network administration, databases, and enterprise software systems
- Demonstrated project management experience
- High attention to detail

- Professional demeanor
- Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all internal customers and external vendors
Education:
A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a closely related field is required. Education must be of such a level as to allow for the accurate reading, writing, calculation and communication of the required materials and instructions to complete the job responsibilities of the IT Manager.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for long durations.
- Occasional use of stairs; accessing areas with high noise levels, slick surfaces, low-lit, or non-climate-controlled areas for training and implementation purposes as necessary.
- Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, 10-key, and standard office equipment.
- Able to read, key or decipher numbers and large amounts of data.
Supervisory Duties:
The IT Manager will directly oversee the positions approved for the IT Department and will have "dotted line" oversight of personnel in other Company locations involved in IT responsibilities as well responsibility for managing any third-party IT consultants. This position will report to the CFO.
Working Conditions:
The majority of work is performed in a normal climate-controlled office environment. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended or weekend hours that support four 24/7 facilities may be necessary. Travel will be limited but on occasion it may be necessary to travel to the company's locations in Colorado and Prince Edward Island, Canada. Limited exposure to high levels of noise, extreme heat or cold, steam, dust, and wet, humid, and slick conditions, and all other environmental factors normally attributed to a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
