Location: Bingham Farms, MI

Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Work Schedule: 100% Onsite, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week

Interview Process: Two-step process (MS Teams/Phone interview followed by a final onsite interview)

Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee all IT functions, including desktop support, server support, security, and cloud technology. This role is ideal for local candidates, as no relocation assistance is provided. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals, including technology roadmaps and budget allocation.
• Project Management: Oversee technology projects from initiation to completion, including system implementations and upgrades.
• System Administration: Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data storage systems.
• Security Management: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent cyber threats.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and network environments.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with technology vendors.
• Cost Management: Monitor IT expenses and optimize budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and data privacy standards.
• Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between IT and other departments, clearly communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT-related field.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and various software applications.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking to identify root causes of technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects within budget and timelines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business objectives and ability to align IT strategies with organizational needs.
