Position Overview:
- Reporting to the Director of Analytics Products you will be responsible for ensuring successful end-to-end development of analytics data products dashboards, data, and ad hoc capabilities for the analytics and business teams through a partnership with Enterprise Architecture, Data and Analytics and other key stakeholders.
- You will play a crucial role in translating business requirements and analytics requests to ensure delivery with a solid understanding of both big data functionality and analytical tool features.
- This role will be heavily engaged with data product management which requires leading the iterative nature of building analytical tools and data set development and managing their lifecycle which is related to, but different, then a normal application or software development lifecycle.
- It also requires flexibility to perform project management responsibilities to demonstrate resources and fill key gaps on the team, leading consumer expectations regarding the delivery and progress of the projects while ensuring timely delivery with an emphasis and interest in continued learning opportunities as Client's analytics capabilities evolve.
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.
- Oversees all aspects of projects.
- Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
- Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
- May require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with analytics, business, data, and external partners to articulate the Property Level Reporting data transformation's vision and communicate timelines, opportunities, and hurdles.
- Lead the Product Strategy for Client's Property Level Reporting Data Transformation supported by Client's Commercial Strategy, Insights, and Analytics development roadmap.
- Partner with business areas to understand business problems and identify tools and datasets necessary for delivery.
- Lead requirements gathering processes and resources with Property Level Reporting and Channel Analytics, as needed, in support of the Property Level Reporting data transformation.
- Lead prioritization and trade-offs among user experience, timeline, and operational support load.
- Initiate development life cycle with Enterprise Architecture and Data for new data features or analytical capabilities.
- Lead product & project management activities for prioritized Property Level Reporting data initiatives.
- Apply technical understanding of big data environment and toolsets to improve analytics capabilities.
- Provide inputs to Value Measurement processes to ensure business results are achieved.

Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of professional experience
- Four (4) years of experience creating and analyzing management reports
- Four (4) years of experience gathering reporting requirements
- Two (2) years in report and dashboard design and development
- Two (2) years working with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling
- Experience with BI tools (including Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAS, Qlik, etc.)
- It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Five (5) years of professional experience
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
- MBA/Masters in analytically-oriented field
- Ability to engage audiences
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills
