Responsibilities:

• Partner with IT leadership to design, implement, and evaluate new and existing IT network systems, encompassing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), S2S intranets, SD-WAN, firewalls, and Microsoft Active Directory/VMware environments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain network policies and procedures, ensuring network integrity throughout maintenance and modification projects.
• Proactively troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Manage network asset lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, configuration documentation, network mapping, and service records.
• Establish and document network technical support processes, fostering efficient operations.
• Ensure network security by implementing mechanisms to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate network performance, capacity, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), providing insightful reports and recommendations for optimization.
• Act as a technical liaison, collaborating with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve network-related issues.
• Maintain strong working relationships with key technology vendors and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for leveraging new technologies and promoting best practices within the IT team.
• Foster a knowledge-sharing environment by providing regular progress updates to management and stakeholders, coaching new staff members, and contributing to development roadmaps for future IT infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network solutions, network design, development and analysis, routing and switching protocols, and LAN/WAN/Data Center technologies (wireless, wired, voice, video, convergence, security, VM).
• Working knowledge and experience in IP Networks, both on-premise and cloud-hosted (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) including AWS and/or Azure.
• Proven experience with Cisco routers/switches, SD-WAN, Ruckus Mesh Wireless, Cisco WLAN, and network management tools.
• Experience with Fortinet Full Stack technologies (Fortigate Firewall/Secure SDWAN/ VPN) and Cisco Meraki networking solutions (SDWAN/Switching/Wireless) is a plus.
• Experience in cloud-hosted network technologies and working on diverse project portfolios.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and experience with third-party vendor management.
• Understanding of quality management principles, agile work methodologies, and network automation/scripting tools (Ansible/Terraform/Python/etc.) is a plus.
