IT Infrastructure Analyst - Data Systems Analysts, Inc.

DSA is seeking a highly qualified IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team in Fairfax, VA. This position is to support DSA's internal systems and employees.  This is an entry level position which provides opportunities for growth in the IT field and is suited for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in Information Technology.  The individual will be gaining experience in all facets of IT, i.e.; workstations, servers, network, Office 365/Azure, virtual machine, etc.

Required Qualifications

• 3 or more years professional, in-depth desktop operating system, hardware and application support and troubleshooting including networking, printers, and scanners.
• Consulting with end users on all aspects of computer and application use.
• Experience with Mac OS and Mac troubleshooting
• Extensive familiarity with desktop and laptop hardware components, Active Directory, and the Windows and MacOS operating systems
• Must understand what computers and networks are and how they work. In-depth knowledge of the functionality and use of MS Office (Windows and Mac), Outlook, Teams, multiple Web browsers, and desktop imaging
• Experience with enterprise anti-virus software and other anti-malware tools. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory is a plus.
• A+, Network+ certifications required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe

• Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree from a two-year college with emphasis on Information Technology or similar coursework in applicable fields, i.e.; A+, Network+, MCDST certification
• Experience may be substituted 2 years for 1 year education.

• Provides first response assistance to users for needs and problems and defines the priority of the issues based on workload and complexity.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems with remote users and systems.
• Install, configure, deploy, and support workstations, software, peripherals, and other end user technologies.
• Requests and documents additional information as required.
• Assist with administrative system support by triaging trouble tickets and performing entry level support.
• Administrative application support duties.
• Escalates issues to IT staff based on the nature of the call and serves as a point of contact for end users while issues are being resolved.
• Enter installation and equipment information into inventory system following prescribed guidelines.
• Provides hands-on support at DSA's office locations and data center.
• Participates in and contributes to the development of technology planning efforts.
• Collaborates with IT staff in policy and process improvement. Performs other duties as assigned.
