Solugenix is looking for multiple IT Incident Technicians based out of Midtown Manhattan, NY (Onsite). These roles are all contract to hire.
The IT Incident Technician is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues that disrupt normal operations within an organization's IT systems, essentially acting as the first point of contact for users experiencing computer or network problems, aiming to restore service quickly and efficiently by following established incident management processes.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of desktop support experience working onsite.
- Computer HW/SW, (Windows 10/11), basic network fundamentals.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Mobile computing.
- Configure network connectivity, VPN, and MFA.
- Able to document and work tickets in a ticketing system.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support and troubleshooting.
- Resolve incidents and problems.
- Support user connectivity to network, VPN, print, and file services.
- Equipment including laptops, desktop PCs, mobile devices, display screens, video systems, docking stations, communication devices, printers, scanners, wireless networking, etc.
- Log and report on customer calls and requests in the company ticket-tracking system.
- Receive escalations from the Helpdesk team for application support.
- Provide support to remote users and mobile devices.
- On-call rotating schedule for after-hours and weekend support.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $20/hour to $22/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
