One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Helpdesk Team . Our client is looking for strong technicians to provide Level 1 and Level 2 Helpdesk phone support to its enterprise environment within Windows Devices .
These roles are high paced and our client is looking for candidates that can handle the high volume of calls. This is also a great opportunity for someone to grow their skills within the IT support and have the opportunity to advance their careers within IT. Job Description: The Help Desk Representative will be located at the client site in Ann Arbor, MI, providing effective, live, Level 1 support for their end users. You will be taking roughly 15-30 calls a day inbound regarding a number of technical related issues. This representative will remotely diagnose and resolve routine problems including proprietary software, as well as hardware and peripheral equipment (touch screens, phones, printers, etc.) for a multitude of locations across the world. They will follow up with end-users to ensure calls are resolved and closed promptly. They are a 24/7 IT call center that utilizes the chat/email/call in functions. They support the end-users, printers, digital signage and basic network troubleshooting as well as multiple other areas of the business that keep the company up and running efficiently.
Other aspects and perks of the role include providing support to co-workers to ensure effective sharing of best practices (wearing both a teachers and students hat at all times). Increase knowledge through continuing education classes provided.
Years of Experience: 2+ years in an IT help desk role
Top Skills:
-2+ years of help desk experience (enterprise help desk experience preferred)
-Experience with remote support tools
-Software/Hardware Troubleshooting
-ServiceNow Ticketing System
-Customer Service Experience
Nice to Have:
-4 year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
-Familiarity with basic networking (reading SQL queries)
-Documentation (flow charts)
-Presentation skills
-Technically Savvy/Driven
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00
