We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting IT Helpdesk Support professional to join our team in the Finance industry. This role is perfect for an individual who has a passion for technology, possesses a strong problem-solving ability, and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will provide first-rate technical support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related queries and issues, and your primary goal will be to troubleshoot and resolve these in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-line IT support to all staff, promptly responding to queries and troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, network, and other IT systems.
2. Maintain a high level of customer service and support, ensuring all issues are resolved to the user's satisfaction.
3. Monitor and maintain the IT helpdesk system, logging all support calls and tracking their progress.
4. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
5. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and systems.
6. Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and best practices.
7. Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement improvements to IT services.
8. Participate in IT projects, providing expert advice and support as needed.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in IT support.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT support, with a focus on helpdesk support.
3. Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and security systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
5. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
7. Experience in the finance industry is highly desirable.
8. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
