About the Job
Accentuate Staffing seeking a temporary IT Helpdesk Technician with one of our clients in Raleigh, NC . The IT Help Desk Technician will focus on supporting employees with basic technical issues and equipment management. The position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working 100% on-site at our HQ in a fast-paced yet supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage incoming helpdesk tickets, ensuring all necessary details are collected.
- Route tickets to the appropriate internal team or external vendors.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for common technical issues, including phone, computer, and printer problems.
- Direct employees to the correct person or department for issue resolution when appropriate.
- Handle equipment logistics, including receiving, swapping, and managing laptops, mobile phones, and printers for incoming/outgoing employees and training events.
- Assist with the setup and distribution of new equipment for staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Tier 1 IT Helpdesk role or similar entry-level IT position.
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA) is preferred.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of computer hardware, software, and printers.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Salary
25 - 30 /hour
