IT Help Desk Representative ONSITE - CompTia A+, VMWare Horizon, Win and Apple - Data Management Group

About the Job
All work must be done in Ashburn VA office - 5 days / week business hours
Responsibilities:
• Answering and responding to incoming calls, emails and chats for assistance and triage with computer, telephone, video conferencing equipment, network connectivity and applications for both onsite and remote users.
• Preparing and supporting business users with A/V needs in conference onsite rooms.
- Generates and completes Help Desk incident and request tickets and provides timely status updates to users.
- Triages and documents troubleshooting efforts in the Help Desk ticketing system and escalates issues to the appropriate BTS team when necessary.
- Assists in maintaining end-user device inventory by following asset management procedures.
- Supports information security team in maintaining security policies and controls, escalating issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred.
- Must have CompTia A+ certification or equivalent.
- Must have 3+ years of IT Help Desk Experience
- Must have excellent problem solving, analytical and teamworking skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an openness to learning new technologies.
- Must have experience with supporting Windows and Apple devices and the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Experience with VMWare Horizon preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
