Travel Requirement: Yes, within the region.
Job Description
Provides first-level troubleshooting and basic technical support services to end-users of computers.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
- Diagnoses computer errors and troubleshoots computer software, hardware, and networking issues.
- Provides technical support to remedy computer problems.
- Follows up with users after problems have been resolved.
- Provides training in computer set-up and new technologies.
- Installs and configures software and operating systems, and updates these systems when necessary.
- Cleans and repairs computer hardware.
- Installation of security and network equipment.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- 2 to 4 years of related work experience is preferred.
- Highschool diploma or GED is preferred.
- An associate’s degree in information technology or a related field is preferred.
- Trouble shooting skills.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
- Technical expertise.

Physical Demands and Exposures
- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
