IT Field Technician (001) - Reliance Fuel

We are currently seeking to fill a full-time position in our office in Stevens Point. This position will provide both on site and remote IT support for Retail Convenience Stores.

As part of the IT Team, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, configuration and repair of software, hardware and networks - including but not limited to:

• PC's, printers and various peripheral devices
• VeriFone and Par Point of Sale systems
• Wireless routers, switches, bar code readers and/or scanners
• Firewalls

Other responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Troubleshooting hardware supported by outside vendors
• Organization and documentation of multiple hardware devices in each location
• Checking and updating Help Desk ticket status
• Creating procedural documentation and check lists as needed

When will you work?

• Schedule may be flexible within core office hours of 7:00am-5:00pm. As part of the IT Team that provides support 24/7 to our retail locations, you will be asked to work outside of these hours in a rotating on call schedule.

• Our ideal applicant will have two or more years of field experience working with retail POS equipment and be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a retail or an office setting. We are looking for a team player with a broad knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 and networking in a Microsoft environment. We value independent thought, troubleshooting skills, solid customer support skills and the ability to interact with fellow Associates in a professional, timely and helpful manner.
• Insurable Driver's License required. Random drug testing is mandatory.
