About the Job
Full-time direct hire opportunity for a IT Field Service Technician.
Must have at least 3 years of IT support experience and must be able to travel to client sites within a 50-mile radius of Greensburg.
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive IT support, including network administration, server support, and end-user support, onsite at various client locations
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite IT support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to network infrastructure, servers, PCs, and mobile devices.
- Perform ongoing network administration, including configuring and managing Microsoft Server OS environments.
- Support server infrastructure and related systems, ensuring proper backup solutions (both disk-based and cloud-based) are in place.
- Administer and configure SonicWALL products, including firewalls and VPN setups.
- Manage core network functions such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and more.
- Administer and support Microsoft Exchange, including performing migrations and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and configure LAN/WAN solutions, ensuring network performance and security.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, client environments, and technical procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience, particularly in network and server administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Server OS administration and configuration.
- Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Hands-on experience with SonicWALL products, including firewalls and VPN configurations.
- Experience with both disk-based and cloud-based backup solutions.
- Experience with Exchange administration, including migration and upgrade processes.
- Proven knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations, firewalls, and network infrastructure management.
- Microsoft Certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients professionally and effectively.
- Must be able to work after regular hours and weekends as required
