Title: IT Field Operations Specialist
Location: Western United States (Onsite)
Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Field Operations Specialist to oversee the technical success of multiple facilities, including outpatient centers and administrative offices. This role involves providing comprehensive IT support, analyzing workflows, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure system efficiency and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges effectively.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leadership and team members to assess hardware and software needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Manage and resolve technical issues, service requests, and projects through tracking systems, ensuring detailed documentation.
Perform on-site visits to proactively identify and resolve user concerns.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and network devices.
Work closely with specialized IT teams to address complex issues and enhance system understanding.
Maintain and implement best practices for LAN/WAN security and systems integrity.
Oversee inventory management, including equipment tracking and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with external vendors to resolve escalated issues and improve service delivery.
Support and monitor network configurations, ensuring performance reliability.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical field, or 5+ years of IT support experience.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with PCs, printers, and networks.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP protocols, routers, and diagnostic tools.
Expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Suite.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Flexibility to travel as needed within the assigned region.
Desired Skills:
Proactive mindset with the ability to recommend workflow improvements.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with encryption software and additional PC-based applications
