Job Description- Act as Equipment Control Officer (ECO) for Air Force IT equipment accounts.
- Interface with AF Equipment Control Office (AFMECO).
- Maintain proficiency with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database application and in-house Equipment Custodian Asset Management (ECAM) database application.
- Enter and maintain data in DPAS and ECAM databases.
- Create and use custom-made queries and reports.
- Download/export account information to Excel spreadsheets and support Account Property Custodians.
- Assist in developing and maintaining new database or application functionality to support the team, including SharePoint.
- Prepare and post inventory certification documents and ensure the process complies with governing directives and standards, to include inventory certification documents.
- Produce and ensure Report of Survey (ROS) letters and spreadsheets are provided to the organizational commander, IT Property Custodians, and the Base ROS office.
- Run reports and correct discrepancies.
- Print and affix bar-code labels for all IT assets.
- Manage and maintain organizational IT equipment accounts.
- Manage technical refresh process, tracking and issuing computers to users.
- Perform account reconciliation functions such as printing Property Custodian inventory certification reports, emailing reports to custodians and searching asset management system for missing equipment.
3+ years experience in inventory and asset management. HS diploma or GED. Experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiar with computer hardware and peripheral devices for identification and tracking purposes. Able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Must have strong customer service skills and written and verbal communication skills. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
