This multifaceted role needs a strategic mindset to align IT solutions with the functional goals & objectives of Finance department. This role essentially acts as a liaison between IT and Finance Business functions focusing on leveraging ERP and other IT solutions to streamline and optimize Finance processes, generate accurate reports, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Business Partnering:

This role essentially acts as a liaison between IT and Finance Business functions focusing on leveraging ERP and other IT solutions to streamline and optimize Finance processes, generate accurate reports, and ensure compliance with regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating functional requirements into actionable IT solutions.
- Provide strategic guidance on how technology can improve functional operations and decision-making.
- Manage financial data within the ERP system and other IT solutions in use. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by regularly reconciling financial records.
- Implement data integration and synchronization between ERP and other IT applications.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Work with functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and process automation.
- Create detailed specifications and design documents for IT projects.
- Implement and manage applications for Finance function.
- Manage data exchanges and interfaces between ERP and other applications.
- Identify and communicate business initiatives and/or systems implementations that may impact the finance team or applications.
- Design and develop reports and dashboards using reporting tools.
- Perform data analysis to extract valuable insights for decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the applications.
- Ensure that systems and processes comply with industry regulations and security standards.
- Implement and maintain appropriate controls to safeguard financial data.
- Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and data from the ERP system.
- Provide training and support to users to ensure they can effectively utilize ERP and other applications by adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP and applications.
- Lead or participate in IT projects related to finance, from inception to completion.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance processes and systems for Finance function.
- Streamline processes by leveraging ERP functionalities to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operations.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of financial principles, processes, accounting standards, and financial reporting. Proficiency in ERP financial modules is required.
- 8+ years of experience working with ERP Financial modules and other financial add-on applications.
- Knowledge of Medical device industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
