Job Summary
Manage the relationship between business leaders and Process & IT with focus on human resources and payroll topics. Serve as their point of contact partnering with them to strategize and evolve systems. Oversee functional and technical consulting teams that support the USA SAP HCM system, the UKG Pro Workforce Management time keeping system, Success Factors and interactions with other internal and external systems. Provide prioritization based on feedback from Human Resources and Payroll management. Work closely with business leaders to identify, scope, estimate, and lead project teams to enhance our systems and processes. Serves as the key contact for other internal teams to provide guidance in resolution of issues and HR-related topics that cross multiple landscapes. Ability and openness to learn and lead projects outside of HR-related topics, as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage relationship with business leaders for the HR-related applications and topics.
- Serve as partner with business leadership to strategize and evolve systems.
- Oversee US support of HR-related applications including implementation of new modules, interface and process issues between the SAP HCM system and third-party vendors as well as integrations with internal Cemex systems.
- Lead and participate in the preparation of requirements/specifications, estimates, system designs, system integrations to ensure quality projects and support for our customers.
- Manage projects and commitments between project teams, support teams and our customers.
- Responsible for escalating issues and incidents relating to system configuration and system failures to ensure they are brought to a timely resolution.
- Ensure all configuration changes are properly tested and documented before approving them to go into production systems.
- Ensure all local government policies are implemented timely and accurately.
- Clarify processes to end users and business stake holders as required.
- Identify any risks to processes, systems or projects.
- Participate in workshops with other teams to help design solutions.
- Represent Processes & IT in discussions with third party vendors and our customers.
- Work together with counterparts in other regions of the world to help design, deploy and support global initiatives.
- Represent Processes & IT in dealing with internal customers acting as subject matter expert in the application and process model.
- Participate in the daily production meeting to ensure all incidents and issues are noted. Identify and communicate any impact to our customers.
- Participate in weekly team leader meetings to understand the impacts to our systems by system maintenance changes as well as new and proposed service requests.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in a technical role
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or project management role
- College degree in computer science, business administration or related areas
- Ability for light travel as needed for various projects.
- SAP Certification in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors preferred.
- English proficiency required. Spanish proficiency desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of SAP HCM including PA, OM, TM, PY and BN.
- Strong knowledge of Success Factors including R&O, EC, Performance, and LMS.
- Strong knowledge of system integration and programming principles.
- Strong knowledge of the Hire-to-Retire process.
- Knowledge of USA government and statutory requirements as they pertain to retirement plans, health and welfare plans and payroll.
- Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management.
- Experience in Microsoft tools.
- Proven ability to work closely with employees of multiple organizational levels.
- Strong project management, strategic analysis, and planning skills.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Ability to work and coordinate effectively with local and remote teams.

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
