Role: IT Business Analyst Specialist
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client
Location: Hybrid - Tuesday through Thursday - McLean, VA
Position Description:
In this role, you will support enterprise-wide technology initiatives by providing thought leadership and guidance to ensure consistency and continuity across various business divisions. You will be responsible for managing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) controls, conducting compliance reviews, identifying and remediating risks, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in SDLC governance and program management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams, different levels of leadership and with stakeholders. Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in SDLC governance, Agile, and/or program management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of direct experience in Information Technology, including software design, development, or IT architecture.
5+ years as an Agile Scrum Master in diverse environments, including large enterprises and matrixed organizations.
Certification required: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP).
Risk and compliance background
Hands-on experience with Atlassian Suite-Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, preferred.
Hands-on experience with Testing, especially independently-Control Testing, UAT testing, preferred.
IT general control experience, IT controls Audit-SOX, strongly preferred.
Understanding full lifecycle development, preferred.
Familiarity with Service Now and change management, preferred.
Strong facilitation skills to guide team discussions and processes effectively.
Coaching and mentoring abilities to support team development and growth.
Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex concepts to senior leadership.
