JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Analyst/Project Manager uses data to create business insights and advocate improvements for client. The Business Analyst/Project Manager may detect problems in almost any aspect of the company, including IT processes, organizational structures, and employee development. The Business Analyst/Project Manager will lead projects to address areas of concern. As clients constantly striving to improve its overall efficiency and save expenses, business analytics and project management will be an essential component of the job requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analyst
-
Work with operational leaders to ensure accurate operational data entry needed for proper operational metrics.

Create, maintain, and refresh operational KPI's. Examples include:
-
Inventory metrics
-
Customer metrics
-
Trucking metrics - Delivery metrics vs. sales

Vendor scorecard
-
-
Capacity/utilization analysis
-
Review job bids to determine profitability to client.

Review ongoing jobs in CERP (Project Quotes and Door Contracts) to determine actual results vs projections.

Budget to actuals for income statements
Microsoft ERP (Microsoft Business Central)

Ensure Microsoft Business Central is as efficient as possible for users (no unneeded clicks and views)

Evaluate, install, configure, project manage and deploy Microsoft Business Central applications, and/or enhancements to existing applications.

Manage special projects where Microsoft Business Central software is involved that require input from department heads and end users.

Create strategies for testing and reviewing Microsoft Business Central software across all departments.

Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the Microsoft Business Central system; install and configure patches and upgrades as required.

Prepare and deliver recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.

Coordinate and perform in-depth tests for modified and / or new systems integration, and other post-implementation support.

Manage the pricing module within Microsoft Business Central.
Training & Support

Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

Create and distribute user manuals, instruction & guides in support of user training.

Provide guidance and/or instruction to junior/new employees.
-
Conduct end user reviews with an eye towards improving end user performance.

Contribute to continuous learning by posting content to Client's Learning Management System.
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
-
College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems and five years related work experience.
Knowledge & Experience
-
Working technical knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning ( "ERP ") systems. Preferably a Microsoft ERP or other Distribution ERP's.

Preferred proven experience in the industry including operations and reporting.

Demonstrated project management skills.
