IT Business Analyst - Merakey

Position Summary: Primary ongoing responsibility is to review and analyze current and proposed business operations. This could include financial statements, KPIs and other key metrics, and then consider options for improvement. Assess the overall effectiveness of a business and its departments to devise solutions to problems. Creates and maintains necessary documentation including requirements, workflow diagrams, models, traceability matrices, vendor analysis, and RFPs.



General Duties:


* Identify and communicate with key stakeholders
* Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics
* Act as an information source and communicator between business departments
* Act as a liaison between various departments and business units
* Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth.
* Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling.
* Enhancing the quality of IT products and services.
* Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models.
* Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations.
* Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
* Sourcing and implementing new business technology.
* Finding technological solutions to business requirements.

Projects:


* Regulates flow of work within projects/teams/units/organizations to ensure completion of the goal.
* Conducts significant research on existing data provided and concisely articulates findings.
* May serve as the lead on small projects.
* Reviews operating practices, recommends and implement improvements where needed.
