Summary/Objective:
Work with the Applications, Business Intelligence, or Development team supporting the Business Analyst role. Goal of the Business Analyst is to help daily tasks, improve system processes, join projects.
Essential Functions and projects:
- Assist in the daily IT functions supporting the Business Analysts.
- Daily tasks include, for example: exception research, data entry / updates, running reports, and data analysis.
- Attending user process meetings with Business Analysts, taking meeting notes.
- Support Business Analysts as they / you conduct system testing.
- Shadowing Business Analysts to learn several key business processes.
- Track and follow up on issues, help coordinate projects.
- Advise users on issue and resolution process.
Qualifications:
- Rising Junior or Senior in college/university, pursuing bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- Strong business acumen and analytical ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and bias for action
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Demonstrated personal and professional values
