Overview
The Business Analyst is a pivotal role within the team. This individual will serve as the vital link between our information technology team and the business; gathering and documenting requirements, establishing feature success criteria and establishing full domain knowledge of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business/technical discussion regarding system features.
- Document key elements of the system requirements, interfaces and reporting.
- Bridge the gap of business requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop Feature/release specification documents which clearly and succinctly identify the issue, goal and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and deliver ad hoc and standard reports as needed.
- Establish domain expertise on our Gateway system specification and certification to third-party vendors, inclusive of support, review and approval of certifications.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Assist QA in developing test cases and ensuring requirement alignment.
- Assist with the managing of competing resources and priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years proven experience as a business analyst, with a track record of creating and implementing effective functional specifications.
- Team player willing and able to do what it takes to make the program a success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter/self-motivating in a fast pace dynamic environment
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL.
