About the Job
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Business Analyst is an IT liaison between PCI-FS companies and the Information Technology team. The IT Business Analyst continually evaluates systems for improvement while performing integrations between systems, ensuring security, configurations, policies, and compliance are managed and followed. The IT Business Analysts are often required to work outside of standard hours to oversee upgrades or fixes, ensuring minimal interruption to business flow.
- Provide support, training, and technical advice to enhance and maximize PCI-FS’ use of Software, Equipment, and Service Management.
- Evaluate new software releases and provide recommendations to management based on business needs and functional requirements.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Collaborating with Business Leaders, Management, and the IT team to resolve issues and ensure viable and consistent solutions.
- Ensure that software and business flow maintain security controls, policies, and protocols.
- Collaborate with senior administrators to optimize business flow.
- Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Assist in setting up and configuring user accounts, email, and access permissions.
- Collaborate with the IT helpdesk to resolve user issues promptly.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Prepare reports on system performance and incident resolutions.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing security policies and protocols.
- Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that support business objectives.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending business software purchases.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Good understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint and related products.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Associate) are a plus.
Physical Requirements

To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fly in an aircraft, both of which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Employees must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
