IT Business Analyst at TEKsystems

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Business Analyst to track, execute, support, and monitor capital spend activities for IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with IT infrastructure, strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Capital Spend Management:

• Validate and execute purchase order requests based on available funding and project scope.
• Track the lifecycle of purchase orders from execution to delivery.
• Verify invoices and track equipment.
• Improve process flows and develop metrics.
• Manage intercompany billing and coordination.
• Coordinate with the RCE Center of Excellence team to mitigate risks associated with timely spending.
• Oversee OUS (Outside US) purchase order coordination.

1. Vendor and Project Management:

• Attend weekly calls with vendors.
• Lead and participate in hardware and software deployments.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of services and products.

1. Support and Analysis:

• Provide financial analysis support for key capital projects.
• Perform monthly reviews of departmental financial performance versus plan.
• Automate and improve processes.
• Build successful partnerships with internal customers.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements in reporting and analysis.

1. Team Collaboration:

• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related discipline relevant to the healthcare industry, or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
  • IT expertise in one or more areas specific to the supported business process.
  • Previous experience in IT infrastructure, asset management, or IT project coordination.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Power BI (preferred).
  • Familiarity with program/project management governance.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Process-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and understand business needs.
  • Comfortable providing recommendations to senior leaders and executives.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
