Job Title: IT Build Room Specialist/Field Service
Location: Wayzata, MN::Onsite
Duration: (Contract)
Essential Responsibilities:
Unbox workstations from pallets and bench for imaging
Setup workstations on imaging Lab. Image workstations, laptops and Zebra Tablet using PxE as required by business and Team
Un rack workstations, Laptops, Tablets and Server Devices from Pallets and rack and stack on the storage areas
Rack and Stack Server Devices on Imaging Bay, cabling of devices to switch and setup servers ready for configurations
Coordinate with Support and Lifecycle team for imaging and server Configuration Process. Work on priorities assigned.
Work on boxing and shipment of imaged devices to deliver to mail room for shipment
Work closely with Support Team to address any workstation and tablet issues and drive to a speedy resolution
Ability to install/uninstall software of workstations and tablet following set instruction guide
Troubleshoot L1/L2 Issues encountered in imaging Process. Ability to coordinate with multiple teams for addressing issues
MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS
8+ Years of solid hands on experience on Microsoft Windows Systems Administration with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019. Ability to technically troubleshoot system issues on Windows Platform.
Must have working experience in a build room environment, Imaging and managing Workstations. The candidate is expected to have knowledge of Windows Imaging and experience building Windows 10 Workstations through PxE or USB. Ability to manage small device inventories. Hands on knowledge supporting Windows 10 Operating system Environment on Workstations
The candidate should be a hands on IT technician familiar with Dell products (workstations and rack mount servers). Experience on racking and stacking of ESXI Hosts and configuration of ESXI and SAN Storage in a data center or a Manufacturing Plant Environment is a plus
Experience with Infra Support activities like installation and uninstallation of Software on Windows 10 and Server Platform. Handle diagnosis of complex issues, experience in administering and troubleshooting the provisioned Infrastructure on Plant Segmented networks.
Hands on with maintenance activities like OS Patching, SEP, Backing Procedures, ioSafe Etc.
Knowledge of DHCP, SNMP and Active Directory. Ability to support production environment and troubleshoot issues related to PC Networking and Active Directory
Experience working with a SLA based ticketing system - ServiceNow/Remedy/HPSM etc.
