Responsibilities:
- Supports and assists the IA management team in performing annual risk assessment and developing the IT audit plan, as well as strategic department transformation initiatives.
- Leads and manages audit teams to conduct integrated audits using a risk-based approach that addresses IT, compliance, and fraud-related risks.
- Manage the staff in developing audit objectives, scope, testing strategy, audit procedures, and attributes
- Develop and execute risk-based audit plans to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, financial processes, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough and objective evaluations of processes, procedures, and controls through interviews, documentation reviews, and testing methodologies.
- Identify key risks and control deficiencies and communicate findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to leverage and use technology effectively, including advanced data analytics techniques for audits, visualization tools for dashboarding and Audit/ GRC technology to improve workflow.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and provide follow-up assessments to ensure identified issues are adequately addressed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field from a four-year college or university required
- CISA, CISSP, CIA, CGEIT, CPA or CFE required
- 5+ years of IT Audit experience (public accounting or internal audit)
- 2+ years of supervisory experience leading audit or project teams
- Working knowledge of IT standards such as ISO, COBIT, and NIST preferred.
- Experience using data analytics techniques as part of integrated audit and working knowledge of any data analytics (e.g. ACL, IDEA), audit management software or GRC technology, a plus
