IT Associate/Administrative Assistant

What experience you need:

Two years plus (2+) experience working with computers. 

You should also have:

1. Superior organizational skills
2. OUTSTANDING oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deal with people at various levels, from technician to senior manager
3. High energy, ability to learn quickly and to rapidly adapt to dynamically changing situations/schedules
4. Exceptional abilities in organizing, managing, and integrating information from diverse sources, including email, spreadsheets, reports and software tools
5. Strong ability to build client relationships
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Thorough working knowledge of using products in the following areas:

-Laptop and PC desktop hardware

-Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7/8/10 and MAC)

-Supporting Mobile Phones (Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows)

-Internet technologies (browsers, plug-ins)

-PC Connectivity (cabling, TCP/IP)

-Windows 7 and 10 OS

-Imaging and transfer tools experience such as Microsoft MDT, Ghost, PC Mover, Microsoft USMT, etc. 

-Anti-Virus tools

-Office 2013/2016/2019 applications

-Office365 implementations

What education/training/certifications are desired:

-College degree

-A+ or Net+

What you will do 

You will work primarily out of our Rockville offices and will provide on-site and remote helpdesk support services to our government and commercial clients, mostly in Windows 2008/2012 environments. You are expected to: 

-Respond to phone, email and/or walk-up requests

-Categorize the customer request

-Enter help desk tickets

-Solve technical issues and/or escalate to internal team members and provide end-to-end support for user issues

-Provide timely ongoing communications with client regarding status and resolution

-Providing secretarial support (typing, filing, copying and distributing documents, updating documentation, and handling mail functions)

-Maintaining office equipment and inventory

-Organizing company events and lunches

-Keeping the office clean and organized

-Complete other duties as assigned

Where you will do it

You will work from InfoStructures’ headquarters in Rockville, Maryland with visits to client sites in the Washington, DC metro area (local travel is a must). 

Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.
