About the Job
Northramp is looking for smart, creative individuals interested in helping grow something truly unique in our markets. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the IT asset management team by performing asset verification, reconciliation, and auditing of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will ensure that our hardware and software assets are accurately tracked and initiate corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
Beyond traditional asset management, we are looking for a professional who can leverage automation tools to optimize our ITAM processes. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing basic scripts using tools like PowerShell, Power BI, and Power Automate to drive efficiency and accuracy across IT asset management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform asset verification, reconciliation, and audit of CMDB content to ensure accuracy.
- Execute shipping, receiving and other logistics functions with physical assets.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate IT asset management tasks.
- Use Power Automate to build workflows that streamline asset tracking and corrective processes.
- Create dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to provide actionable insights into asset data.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure hardware and software assets are aligned with inventory records.
- Identify and implement corrective actions to maintain data quality and compliance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), including verification, reconciliation, and auditing.
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) practices.
- Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
- Ability to create automation workflows using Power Automate.
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for managing asset discrepancies.
- ITIL certification is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to pass, and maintain, a federal background check and drug screen successfully
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in IT asset management and/or logistics processing
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong collaboration, client communication and handling skills
- Ability to leverage resources to get things done with timeliness and quality
- Ability and interest in performing physical work and inventory related activities
- Innovation, Continual Improvement, and Customer Experience focus
