Position: IT Architect
Location: McLean VA
Rate: $55/hr on c2c/1099
US Citizens or GCs are preferred
Job Description:
15+ years' experience in architecting, consulting and developing IT/Business Service monitoring, IT/Business Service Mapping/Modelling, Management & Strategy
12+ Experience in leading large scale application monitoring, tool implementation and consolidation projects for over 150+ applications
Experience in ServiceNow ServiceWatch dashboard implementation or CA SOI Planning, Implementation and Management
Perform architecture of ServiceWatch or CA SOI (Service Operations Insight)
Develop ServiceWatch discovery scope
Develop Service Mapping/Modelling strategy, Use Cases utilizing ServiceWatch as relates to clients environment and services Develop Service Maps/Models with ServiceWatch, Develop roadmap for discovery of service in scope
Perform discovery of the services, Adjust and customize patterns to Client services
Integrate with monitoring products with good working knowledge of Client SiteScope, CA Nimsoft and Opnet
Integrate with CMDB
Customize reporting and dashboard
Configure and create custom dashboard for monitoring
Responsible to requirements gathering and analysis from business analysts
Responsible to implement business requirements
Strong Knowledge on Monitoring and CI's and Business Services
Demonstrate the ability to assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the company's business requirement and make recommendations for improvements
Report management based on scheduled performance and Fine Tuning on Alarm Management
Desired
12 to 15+ years working with monitoring tools such as CA SOI or Service Watch, Site Scope etc.
7+ years working with Application management
5+ years working in Systems Administration
15+ years of progressive IT experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lead and work effectively in a team environment
ITIL, Service now Certification
Working with any other monitoring tools (Client Foglight, BMC Patrol)
Understanding event driven monitoring
Correlations/Filtering
Working with any ITSM management tools (ServiceNow, BMC ITSM, Cherwell)
Training material development
